Diane Barrington, a long-time resident of South Florida, decided it was time to take her young son, leave the hectic pace of Miami, and head West, to the “Best Coast”. After a varied career in businesses ranging from restaurant and entertainment to health care, and from public relations to high-end transportation services, Barrington focused on her zeal for real estate in Sarasota.
“I found my piece of paradise here”, says Barrington, and I want to help other people find theirs. From the beaches of Anna Maria Island to the commercial hub of downtown Sarasota, Barrington finds and sells properties to meet her clients needs. With such diversity in properties, people and budgets, she is ever on the move, serving her clientele and matching real estate to real dreams.
Julia DeCastro joined Team Sarasota Real Estate with over a decade of Sales Management experience behind her. After a career as a Regional Sales Director for a national development company in Washington, DC and Houston, Texas, Julia relocated to beautiful Sarasota with her husband and two small children in March of 2003. After accepting a position as Sales Manager with a local condominium developer, Julia and her staff went on to sell-out the entire 272-unit complex within her first year. After meeting Josh and Diane in 2006, she became motivated by their enthusiasm, drive and interest in matching clients with the perfect home, and decided to shift her focus to the general real estate market.
With Sarasota’s beautiful beaches, boating, culture and arts - Julia has a true appreciation for the quality of life the area has to offer. This, combined with her expertise in the local market for condos, single-family homes and investor purchases she ensures clients that the property matches their lifestyle.
As a Sarasota Resident herself, Julia spends spare time with her husband and two daughters biking, beaching and being an all-around soccer mom. Originally from Northern Virginia, Julia obtained a BSW from George Mason University before beginning a 12-year career working with some of the nations top Property Management and Real Estate Development companies.
